There are different kinds of sign language depending on which country you live in, for example there is ASL (American Sign Language) and BSL (British Sign Language) versions available. I personally do not know sign language unfortnately.

I have always wanted to learn sign language as it can be a very valuable skill to know, however it can be expensive to find classes to learn it. I suppose there is also YouTube videos too, but I think it helps if you can sign with others to help practice. Is sign language something you know or might want to?

Ive never really tried to learn sign language but I think it should be something that is more commonly taught. I feel bad for people that rely on sign language for communication as it is such a little known language compared to the foreign languages like French and German that are regularly taught in schools.

Nope, I've never learned sign language but it is a skill that I have sometimes thought about learning. However I am fortunate in that I don't need to learn it and I don't know anyone that relies on it either luckily. I would learn it if I had a daily use for it though.

I know some sign language that I was taught by my parents as they knew some sign language but I can't say that I know enough to be able to communicate with someone hard of hearing. It's a shame that they never taught it in schools to be honest as that would have been ideal for many to know as you never know when it will be needed.
