a lifetime ago, i was steep into the advertising/marketing profession. i was always amazed at the ego of some execs that actually thought the general population would PAY THEM to advertise their brand. never ceased to amaze me.

sure, there are the exceptions like nike, etc. but, by and large, FOOD and other consumables brands get STUPID with their thinking.

this nestea baseball hat for 330 points, for example. yeah right. last week the special was 50 points for the minute maid juice boxes (avg retail value of $4+).

in comparison, the 330 points i would spend for this hat would equate to about $30 retail

hahahahahahahahaha

yep, those nestea hats should go fast.

ps. im confident that i am not going to politically offend any cw'ers here. the likelihood that any cw would find value in this deal is slim to none.

sometimes i wish i could get back into advertising, now an experienced consumer, and REALLY educate the egos involved.

I'm a little pissed. I got two coupons for free Spicy McBites. They came in the mail last week and expired 8/31!!!. I went to McDonald's yesterday trying to use them anyway and they no longer carry them!! WTF?
 
I had a hard time using them to Raegan. Went to 3 mcD before I found one that still had them...on the night the stupid q's expired.

Bad promotion, why not write to MCR to see if they will reinstate your pts.? Can't hurt to ask....
