i'm starting this thread because i saw the most annoying commercial in the world last night: the one for dunkin' donuts where the soccer mom is driving her kids to their afterschool activities in her minivan.

"soccer, ballet, KARRRATTTEEE." :hurl:

i'm going to hurt someone ...

I can't think of a specific one at the moment, but any commercial that is really dramatic, which is only trying to advertise a simple product make me want to vomit... ahhhhh!!
Even commercials that play stupid music make me tick COMPLETELY.
 
i also *hate* *loathe* that cheese commercial with the guy singing: it's crummmmmbelievable" in that STUPID voice.

SHUT-UP.
 
One commerical I really hate is when there is a man and a woman and he is about to give her a ring..and she tells him more than once....."I love you...I love you...I LOVE YOU!!!!! OMFG...will you please just shut the F^&%$ up. Don't you think once is enough!! Every time that commerical comes on I have to either change the channel or turn the volume down.
 
I detest all commercials.
Well, 'cep the Geico car insurance commercials that have the cute lizard with the Aussie accent. :tongue:

I will not listen to radio commercials.
All automobil commercials are evil and should be banned.

the KFC commercial: "you're such the side hog" with the whiney girl making that sappy-looking face while her brother is digging into the mashed potatoes. i can't stand it anymore.

My girlfriend absolutely hates that commercial. Personally, I tend to zone out for most commercials (in the very little tv that I do watch). I agree with Panache though, any commercial that makes something trivial seem so dramatic.

YES, i hate that commercial, and specifically that girl's face at that one point. grarrrrrrg.
 
And I agree- The "Sunsetter" commercial I have to turn the volume down... and any soccer mom crap makes me want to vomit.
 
The one I hate the most, and I think most of you are lucky that it only airs on NYC stations, are the anti-smoking PSA's with the guy with the hole in his throat and talking on the electronic voicebox. They show him going through his daily routine of cleaning out the hole in the morning. It's disgusting. And they always seem to show it during the morning news while I'm getting ready for work and eating a quick breakfast.

"Things will never be the same again..."

Wrong... my breakfast being thrown up today looks exactly like it did yesterday.
 
Yes! Dan that one too, I think we know by now smoking is bad for us :ut-oh:
 
Ooh! Thought of one that just makes me want to jump out and scream:
I'm not entirely sure what this commercial is for, but in this one, there's some really dumb song playing, and everything is in the shape of a smiley face. The song in the commercial talks about smiling. Too :happy-happy" for my liking.
When that one comes on, I have to either leave the room, or block my ears and cover my eyes. :terror: Usually, I just sit there and cringe through the whole thing.

Also, any commercial for car dealerships, or cars themselves, should be banned- they're obnoxious!

And, regarding anti-smoking public service announcements- I think that the one where the doctor was squeezing fat out of the aorta was pretty nasty, and therefore, made its point very clearly- why did NYC have to go that overboard with their anti-smoking public service announcements!? :eek: That's just gross.
 
God, I haven't actually watched any tv in the past few weeks, but radio commercials...

Waking up, to a loud voice explaning the pros and cons of sex with or without a Durex condom can really disturb your entire morning, because it just keeps going through your head. "This is sex without a durex condom: 'Thanks for dinner.' This is sex with a durex condom: 'Mmm, thanks for breakfast.'"

God, that gets on my nerves.
 
I just saw this commercial and I had to see if anyone else has seen it.

For one, I HATE Kelly Ripa, I just want to *TEAR* our her vocal cords and wrap her up in them. GOD she gets on my nerves.

So, it's the commercial for Tide when their in the restuarant and her guy spilled something, so she reaches over and blots it out with a tide pen, singing the "nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, gooodbye" song. Her EYES OMFG. I just cringe whenever I see that...
