What's new

Coupon usage down 17 percent from last year!

We've changed our eating habits to mainly fresh vegetables and fruits. I was looking at MUM's write up tonight of Ultra and saw Oreos $1.88 minus $1 insert Q so .88. I asked dh and I can't believe he said, "No." That man never turned down a cookie. He was always saying get as many as you can. I've always felt that if I didn't actually want the kids eating it I shouldn't be buying it, but still...... It's weird how I guess I'll be passing that deal up (I'm still tempted......I mean, they are Oreos!!!).

I have found if I have LOTS of an item like that.....the kids don't want it. I have 40 or so packs of oreos right now and the kids don't even ask for them!!!! But they are great additions to gift baskets or when my dad calls me asking if I have anything chocolate (I swear he is like a woman during her "time" lol).

WELL....my couponing is probably down 90 percent....but that would only be because not once during 2012 did I buy 90 cases of soup.

If they count stuff like that (and I am sure they do)....then those of us not getting 90-120 cases of stuff cause it is free is making the industry down 17 percent, rofl.

There are always deals to be had....just not always FREE deals. But bodywash at .80 may not be FREE...but it is a hell of a lot better than $5.99 a bottle if I ran out!!!!
