Do you read what you write, over and over again?

So in posts or threads (or even other things like texts or e-mails), do you re-read what you've written, over and over again to check for mistakes, or just to remind yourself of what you wrote 5 minutes before!?

I'm really bad at doing this. I can read the same post/thread I've written like 3 times before I post it, but even after I post it, I'll read it again and if I stumble across the same thread like half an hour later, I'll read it again. :lol: I think I'm mad. :whoa:

Nope,you are not alone on this. Also,it is perfectly normal to do so, especially if you are the type that likes to follow rules. I do it all the time, and it has helped me a lot, especially in write ups that have to do with my getting contracts or jobs, etc. Writings with grammatical errors are not usually taken serious,so,you are doing alright.

As a good writer, I don't take a lot of time with reading the things that I wrote. I believe that my thought process follow a certain pattern and it is something that I like.

Being that I spend a lot of my time writing online on both forums and blogs I tend to get into a habit of checking my writing more than once to ensure I have not made any mistakes and also ensure it makes sense as well. I would hate to post something I thought was okay to later see it and realize "how did I miss that" so I tend to check things over and over before I post so that I am happy with what I post.

I hate making mistakes when I write. I pen down my thoughts, looking at the possibility of finding out how I can pass the message in an understanding way. That is always the main thing that I work on, and reading what I have written always helps on that.

I read some of my published contents sometimes and I sometimes get baffled that I could express such when the writing is super good. I have articles of mine that I have read 100 times.
