Do you think there is life on other planets?

Why/why not?

I honestly don't think about it much, but I guess the possibility is there. I mean, the universe is huuuuuuuugggeeee with millions of planets; I wouldn't be surprised if there were many different races. How intelligent they are or what sort of technology (if any) they have is something I couldn't even begin to guess at.

I think it's crazier to think that we're the only speck of life in an ever-expanding universe, honestly, rather than (in my eyes, sensibly) suspecting that there's something else living out there.

I believe that there must be other life in the universe among the billions of planets in the galaxy. However, unless a way to travel faster than light is discovered (which is unlikely seeing as special relativity states that you would need infinite energy to even reach the speed of light), we won't be able to discover these planets as it'd take longer than a lifetime to travel there and even then it'd be impossible to sustain fuel, food and water on a spaceship for that length of time.
