Ohhh... I use to hate working in groups because I knew they would 'balance out' the students...to me, that only meant I would be expected to do all the work...so...

...when you work group expects you to do most or all of the work because you are a 'good' student...

That almost always happens to me when I work in groups.

when you have a giant load of homework to do at home for the next day, and your parent still expect you to do chores.

Don't you just hate it when you are in a hurry and you are behind a customer in the the check-out line who takes 5 minutes unloading her purse looking for change to pay for her groceries. Meanwhile, you observe that she has a wallet stacked with $20.00 bills!

I guess that some people just want to get rid of the spare change.

when you say something as a joke, and people judge you by it.

Ohh..I hate it when that happens...

... when someone tells a joke, but too seriously so it looks like they mean what they said; and won't admit it was a joke until things get out of hand. In other words, people who can't tell jokes in the proper tone that will tell you they are not serious...

One of my friends does that all the time.

when you try to tell a joke and someone instantly tells you that they have heard it before.

Heheh, that's part of the reason I don't re-tell jokes I've heard. I just try to say funny things depending on the current situation ;)

...when no matter how preposterous and sarcastically you tell a joke, your friend(s) believe all of it, and ask further questions! :eusa_wall

:bunny:

For example...I was telling my (Chinese) ex once that in Canada, cannibalism is legal and commonly practiced... believed every word...sigh...

Sound like a relationship with alot of misunderstandings.

When a friends ex hits on you to make your friend mad.

It's what I get for getting with a Chinese person in Germany...we both had to communicate to each other in a foreign language...

...when it's so hot you don't feel like doing anything, yet at the same time you're extremely bored.

when you so cold that you cant feel your fingers.

...when you're freezing to death, but know you have another long way to walk before reaching anywhere warm...(Typical Canadian scenario :p )

:bunny:

... when you decide to walk instead of drive, because you "need the exercise":eusa_whis only to realize that you'll probably DIE from exertion before you reach your destination!!:eusa_doh:

I wouldnt survive that. I loathe the cold.

when you walk through a seemingly peaceful park, and suddenly find yourself in the middle of a snowball fight.

...when you have the same conversation week after week with your friends

...when you find a quiet place to eat and do homework or read a book while you enjoy your meal...but all of a sudden, so many people come in that you are forced to share you table with others, and the place becomes unbearably loud. (Sorry that it's so specific :p )

When you write an essey for school an your computer, and before you can print it your brother screws the computer up so bad that you have to format.

when you struggle against crazy situations (such as computer reformating) and pull an all-nighter to get a paper finished in time for the deadline, and someone else in the class gets an extension because they had a headache the day before...

when you wake up in the morning and realize that an essey is due to be handed in the same day, so you work like hell to get it finished. Then just before you go you check your email and find that the deadline was moved a week.
