Cowboys

Roger Cooper LB Montana
Tony Curtis TE Portland State
Harvey Dahl OT Nevada-Reno
Mike Goolsby LB Notre Dame
Reggie Harrell WR TCU
Jamaica Rector WR Northwest Missouri
James Sanders DE Fresno State
Sam Wilder OT Colorado
Jon Condo LB Maryland
Jonathan Evans FB Baylor
Thomas Johnson DT Middle Tennessee State
Dominque Price S Northwestern
Duncan Reid TE Fresno State
Claude Sanders DE Fresno State
Matthew Tarullo OT Syracuse
Tyson Thompson RB San Jose State
Brett Visintainer K Fresno State

Roger Cooper is a strong, athletic LB who is adept at rushing the passer which is a good fit for RLB in the Cowboys' new 3-4 scheme. He's about 15 lbs. too light right now, but he's got the frame to be able to add more bulk without losing his athleticism. He'll definitely have a shot to make the team behind a thin LB corps if he excels on ST. Anthony Curtis could be a guy to keep your eye on down the road. He's a little light right now, but he's got the frame to add more bulk and is extremely athletic, fast, and physical at the point of attack. He's a PS squad guy for now, but there's definitely some potential there. Mike Goolsby is a huge, tough run stopper at ILB. He's not athletic or fast at all, but he does have good instincts so he could be a good fit at ILB in their 3-4 scheme if he can play ST. If you're looking for a darkhorse UDFA who could come in and surprisingly impact a team right away, Reggie Harrell could be your guy. Harrell has tremendous size at 6'3" 214 and is extremely athletic with great leaping ability. He's not fast or quick and isn't a polished receiver, but put this kid on the field and he'll find a way to make plays. With Terry Glenn often injured, there will definitely be opportunities for young guys to step up at this position so Harrell's definitely in a good spot in Dallas. Jamaica Rector is a short, quick WR who could have a shot to be the PR in Big D, though he lacks the breakaway speed that you'd like to see. James Sanders is definitely a guy I was surprised to see not drafted, especially after declaring early as a junior. He's a thick, physical SS with great strength and quickness who should make his mark on ST and has a decent shot to earn a BU job behind Roy Williams. Sam Wilder is a quick, athletic LT who has great feet for pass protection. He's not real big or strong though so he's a PS guy to start with, but he's definitely got the athleticism to be a good player if he grows into his tall frame. Thomas Johnson is a developmental kid with some upside. He's got good speed and quickness and great strength for someone as small as he is which makes him a good fit at NT in the 3-4. He could be a major contributor down the road if they stick with this defensive scheme. Duncan Reid is an incredibly tall TE at 6'6" who has good quickness and athleticism but is terribly undersized at 233 lbs. He's an interesting developmental guy who could grow into his frame down the road. Claude Sanders is an active DE who got after the passer this year but will have to transition to OLB in the NFL.

Giants

Bret Eddins DE Auburn
Steve Fleming TE Arizona
Ryan Grant RB Notre Dame
Mike Jemison RB Indiana, PA
Chris Mooney DE Delaware
Joe Scott LB Jackson State
Brandon Smith WR Vanderbilt
Ahmed Treaudo CB Southern
Derek Wake LB Penn State
Kyle Wallace OT Georgia Tech
Michael Bragg CB Texas A&M Kingsville
James Butler S Georgia Tech

Steve Fleming is a guy I thought would get drafted for his long snapping ability if nothing else. But he's a big, strong blocking TE who has a great shot to make the team and could be a solid addition to the Giants' short yardage packages. Ryan Grant was a very productive RB at Notre Dame who has a good frame and is surprisingly fast. But he plays too soft and needs to add some bulk so he's a long shot to make the team behind a bevy of RBs. Brandon Smith is an extremely fast WR with good height though he's a bit lanky at this time. If he adds some bulk to his frame, he could be a good player down the road though he won't likely make the Giants' deep WR corps at this time. Derek Wake is a true workout warrior at LB. He had a 45.5" vertical jump, a 10'10" broad jump, ran a 1.63 in his 10 yard split, and ran great short shuttle and 3 cone drills. He's never really lived up to that athletic ability at Penn St., but clearly the upside is there and as a solid pass rusher he does have an outside shot to earn a BU spot if he impresses on ST. Kyle Wallace is a tall OT with great strength and quickness though he'll need some bulk at the next level. But entering a thin group of OTs, Wallace has a good chance to make the opening day roster. Michael Bragg is a good sized CB with great speed and athleticism who is just raw needs to add some bulk. James Butler was my #3 ranked S so I have no idea why he wasn't drafted. He's a big, hard hitting SS who has great speed and athleticism so something severe (injury?) must've scared off everyone. No doubt about it he'll have a tremendous shot to make this team and could see playing time as early as this season if he's not truly hurt.

Eagles

Grant Adams WR Boston College
Jared Jones WR Syracuse
Martin Patterson LB TCU
Jason Peebler WR Massachusetts
Stephen Spach TE Fresno State
Chauncey Stovall WR Florida State
Andy Thorn TE Northern Iowa
Jeremy Thornburg FS Northern Arizona
Isaac West WR Furman
Aric Williams CB Oregon State

Grant Adams is a thickly built WR who possesses incredible quickness and athleticism though he's never reall shone at BC. But with Freddie Mitchell likely leaving, Adams will have a decent shot to win the #5 WR job if he can serve as a PR as well. Martin Patterson is a thick MLB who plays with great instincts and is a hard worker though he lacks any physical athleticism to be a top prospect. He'll face an uphill battle against 3 drafted LBs to make this team. Chauncey Stovall is a thick, strong, physical WR with good hands and route running ability but lacks the speed and athleticism to have much upside. He'll battle a slew of young WRs for that last roster spot. Andy Thorn has an NFL TE frame and has the speed and hands to be a solid player one day, but he's way too thin at this time and isn't real quick off the line. Still, the Eagles need TE help after losing Chad Lewis so he's got a good shot to make the team based on ST work. Isaac West is a quick, athletic WR who will likely battle Grant Adams on PR duty. He's awfully thin though so he's definitely a long shot to actually make the team. Aric Williams is a tall, aggressive, experienced press corner who isn't afraid to mix it up at the LOS despite his thin frame. He lacks any top end speed, but with his size and athleticism he can match up with most WRs in a zone scheme and has a good chance to make this team behind a thin group of CBs.

Redskins

Ray Custis DB Maryland
Steven Harris WR Arkansas
Brett Hodge OL Nebraska-Omaha
Aki Jones DL Fordham
Tiger Jones WR Louisville
David Kashetta TE Boston College
Tyler Luebke DL Iowa
Jerome Nichols DL Wake Forest
Scott Paffrath OL Missouri
Billy Palmer TE Notre Dame
Rich Parson WR Maryland
Jason Samples WR Troy
Alex Green S Duke
Jordan Hicks DE Georgetown (KY)

Raymond Custis is an incredibly thick CB who's extremely strong and tough and isn't afraid to mix it up with WRs at the line. At 5'8" he's an extreme long shot to actually make the team, but he's got the speed and attitude to be a real ST demon and the 'Skins aren't exactly deep at the CB position. Dave Kashetta is a tough, technically strong blocker who's not real big, athletic, or fast, but does have solid hands. He's the type of TE that Gibbs likes though and should be a strong ST player so he's got a decent shot to make the team. Tyler Luebke is a tough, strong, hard working NT who's solidly technically though he's extremely undersized. Alex Green was a good signing as a tall, fast, athletic S who was a very productive college player but didn't receive the proper recognition since he played for a bad team at Duke. Great upside if he can add some bulk to his frame.

NFC North

Bears

Darrin Charles WR Wisconsin
Jonathan Jackson DE Oklahoma
Tyler Jones PK Boise State
Stephen Larsen LB San Diego State
Matt McGhghy OG Northern Illinois
Nick Novak PK Maryland
Greg Pauly DT Notre Dame
Sean Poole OT Michigan State
Leroy Smith CB Florida State
Talib Wise CB Nevada-Reno

Darrin Charles is a HUGE WR at 6'6" 217 who is surprisingly quick and athletic. Had he played at a more passing oriented school, he might've put up better #s although his skinny frame will always put him at a disadvantage. Still, I really like this kid's potential if he can bulk up a little, though he's not a good fit in Chicago where they're deep at both WR and TE. Jonathan Jackson is a quick, athletic DE who excelled rushing the passer at OU, but will have to move to OLB in the NFL. He's a PS guy only at this point, but could earn his stripes on ST and certainly has the size and athleticism to complete the position change one day. Nick Novak was my #3 K prospect and is a clutch K who's range is limited. With Edinger on the way out, Novak will likely battle a veteran like Doug Brien for the job. Sean Poole is a guy that came on late at Michigan St. with an extremely strong upper body that really dominated at times down the stretch. His legs are tiny though so he needs to focus more weight training in that area, but I really like what I saw of this kid the 2nd half of the season and believe that with his frame he's got the potential to be a solid OT one day. Certainly has a decent shot to make the team behind a thin group of OTs. Talib Wise is an interesting kid. At 5'11" 205, he can play WR, 3rd down RB, or CB and has the speed and strength to pull them all off. His ability to return kicks will also help though he'll have a tough time finding a spot at any of those spots on this deep roster. Solid PS guy to keep an eye on though.

Lions

Chip Cox S Ohio
Ryan Killeen PK USC
Steve Savoy WR Utah

Adam Anderson P Western Michigan
Andrew Guman S Penn State
Paris Hamilton WR Minnesota
Greg Hanoian FB Syracuse
Rory Hennessy OG Yale
Howard Jackson RB UTEP
Marcus Jasmin DT Texas A&M
Tom Kaleita OT Eastern Michigan
Blake Lingruen C Wake Forest
Will Matthews FB Texas
Todd Mortensen QB San Diego
Levi Newton OG South Florida
Brandon Payne CB New Mexico
Cory Procter OT Montana
Jason Randall TE Michigan State
Robbie Valenzuela DT Oregon

Chip Cox is an extremely fast, quick, athletic CB with the physical skills to play in the NFL. But he's short at 5'9" and is only an average CB so he'll have a tough time making this team. Steve Savoy is a shifty, quick, athletic WR who was incredibly productive catching passes from Alex Smith at Utah. He could fill Az Hakim's role as a PR, but his lack of speed could really hurt him. Paris Hamilton would've been a high round draft pick if he would've have blown his ACL this year. He's a decent sized WR with tremendous speed, quickness, and athleticism but will have a tough time making this roster and will probably end up on the PS. Greg Hanoian is a MONSTER at FB at 6'2" 260 who really helped pave the way for Walter Reyes and that solid Syracuse rushing attack, though he's not overly athletic and can't catch the ball. Watch out for Howard Jackson this preseason. The dude is absolutely tiny at 5'9" 160, but he's got 4.3 speed and just amazing quickness and athleticism which make him impossible to stop in the open field. It's doubtful he'll ever see any regular season action as a RB, but with Az Hakim gone, he could earn a roster spot based on his amazing ability as a KR. Marcus Jasmin is a HUGE 2-gap run stopper who is extremely strong at the point of attack. He's not going to run around anybody, but as stout NG he should make the team behind Shaun Rogers and is a good complement to Shaun Cody who they just drafted. He could factor into the rotation as early as this season. Will Matthews was a tremendous lead blocker at Texas where he helped pave the way for Cedric Benson throughout his career. He's not athletic or good catching the ball, but he will battle Hanoian for the BU FB spot behind Cory Schlesinger and the winner will be blocking for Kevin Jones for many years down the road. Jason Randall is a HUGE TE at 6'5" 282 who has surprising quickness and athleticism. He's not much of a receiver, but if he can pack on a few more pounds he could move to LT down the road. At the very least he's a lock as the #3 blocking TE. I'm really surprised Robbie Valenzuela didn't get drafted. He's a little short at only 6'1" and he's raw, but he is tremendously strong and has great quickness and speed. He's not coming into the best situation though as he'll have to battle Marcus Jasmin for the final DT spot, but he'll definitely end up on somebody's PS and could develop into a tremendous player down the road.

Packers

Bryce Benekos P UTEP
Garrett Cross TE California
Patrick Dendy CB Rice
Roy Manning LB Michigan
Christian Pereira WR Maine
Chris Samp WR Winona State
Chaz Williams QB Georgia Southern
Zac Woodfin LB UAB
Vince Butler WR Northwestern Oklahoma State
A.J. Lindsay DT Temple
Leigh Torrence CB Stanford
Chris White OT Southern Mississippi

Bryce Benekos has a monster leg and will really give B.J. Sander a run for his money after he was a 3rd round bust a year ago. Garrett Cross has a good frame and was a solid receiver for Aaron Rodgers at Cal, but he's thin and not terribly athletic or fast so he's a long shot to make the team. Roy Manning I thought would for sure be drafted based on his workout #s and upside potential, but injuries and underperformance dogged him in his career and that obviously scared teams off. Still, with his incredible size and athletic gifts this kid has the chance to be reborn in the NFL and could develop into a Pro Bowl player one day if he truly puts his mind to it. I'll be shocked if he doesn't make somebody's opening day roster next year even if it's not in Green Bay. Christian Pereira is fascinating guy as well. He's 6'3" 219 and yet ran a 4.44 at his pro day...that's just sick! The kid's incredibly raw and has a bit of an attitude, but from a talent perspective he's got 1st round ability. He's probably a PS guy at first, but he's definitely a kid to watch out for in the preseason. A.J. Lindsay is a guy I thought would get drafted late, but he's raw and was inconsistent this past year and made a questionable decision to leave school early. But he's got great size at 6'3" 323 and is very athletic and quick so there's definitely some upside to be had. Likely another PS guy who can develop down the road.

Vikings

Sarth Benoit LB Southern Ct. State
John Bowencamp QB North Dakota
Eric Coleman DT Clemson
Ira Cooper LB Nebraska
Dovonte Edwards CB North Carolina State
Heath Farwell LB San Diego State
David Harley DT Rutgers
Christopher Jones WR Jackson State
Rian Melander OT Minnesota
Jonathan Nichols PK Mississippi
Mike Nordyke KR Bemidji State
William Obeng OT San Jose State
Matt Ross TE Texas Lutheran
Kyle Schmitt C Maryland

The Vikes don't really need extra help at LB, but it'll be hard to keep Sarth Benoit off the opening day roster. He's huge at 6'2 253 and yet has great speed and athleticism and is extremely strong. He's raw, but he should be a ST demon so that alone should earn him a roster spot. Eric Coleman has great athleticism and quickness but is probably too light to stay at DT so he'll have to move to DE where he'd be a good fit. A positive test for marijuana at the combine has to have you questioning the kid's intelligence though. Ira Cooper is an extremely fast, quick, and athletic LB who is awfully small and may have to move to SS. Could be a ST demon though. Heath Farwell is another tiny but fast, quick, and strong LB who will likely be moved to SS. Another strong ST player. Chris Jones is a big, fast WR with good quickness and athleticism who's battled injuries in his career or else he might've been selected late in the draft. The kid's a hard worker who could make the team on ST though he's facing some stiff competition at that position. Rian Melander is a personal favorite of mine that I'm really surprised didn't get drafted. He's got a huge frame at 6'7" 307 with long arms and yet moves his feet surprisingly well. He's a little raw though and needs to bulk up and become more aggressive, but clearly the technique and physical ability is there to be a great player at the next level. He should be a lock to make the team behind a weak group of OTs. Jonathan Nichols had a great senior season and should give Aaron Elling a run for his money at K.

NFC South

Falcons

Lawrence Bady WR Boise State
Antoine Cash LB Southern Mississippi
Steve Cucci TE Houston
Kevin Dudley FB Michigan
Brandon Heaney CB Brigham Young University
Byron Jones CB Texas A&M
Michael Koenen P Western Washington University
Cole Magner WR Bowling Green
T.A. McClendon RB North Carolina State
Bryan Randall QB Virginia Tech
Hannibal Thomas WR Cincinnati
Derrick Tinsley WR Tennessee

Kevin Dudley was a tremendous lead blocker at Michigan who could really blow guys up. But he's a bit of an overachiever and is limited athletically so he'll have to earn his spot on ST. Brandon Heaney has tremendous speed, quickness, and athleticism, but he's soft and has injury concerns so he's a long shot to make the team. Cole Magner is a fascinating kid. He's one of the quickest, toughest, most reliable WRs in this draft. He's not real big or fast, but his ability to double on ST could earn him a roster spot and after that I wouldn't be surprised if he found his way on to the field at times as a tough slot guy. T.A. McClendon was one of my favorite RB prospects heading into the season, but yet another injury marred season and some horrible postseason workouts just destroyed his stock. Still, when he's actually on the field this kid is an absolute beast who possesses top round talent as a pure runner and has a good shot to earn the BU RB job behind T.J. Duckett. Bryan Randall was an incredibly productive college QB who has great physical talents and a strong arm but is probably too short and erratic to remain at QB in the NFL. The Falcons will likely try moving him to SS where his athleticism does make him a good fit if he is willing to make the switch.

Panthers

Lorenzo Alexander DT California
Jon Doty OT Kansas State
Efrem Hill WR Samford
Marcus Lawrence LB South Carolina
Lornell McPherson CB Nebraska Omaha
Taylor Stubblefield WR Purdue
Michael Watson OT West Virginia

Lorenzo Alexander was a highly productive DT at Cal who was a leader on that D and was a penetrating force as a pass rusher. But he's terribly lacking in size and will likely find it difficult to hold up against NFL linemen at 290 lbs. Efrem Hill was also a highly productive college player who's extremely quick and has good athleticism, but he's too thin for the NFL and lacks the top end speed to probably make the Panthers' roster this year. Marcus Lawrence is yet another highly productive college player who I'm surprised didn't get drafted. He's got good size, is a tough run stuffer, and has good onfield instincts. Not terribly athletic or fast though which is probably what hurt him, but he should be great on ST and has a decent shot to win a spot on a thin LB corps. And continuing the theme of college productivity is one of the most prolific pass catchers in college football history. Granted it came in a spread offensive attack with a great QB, but you just can't ignore Stubblefield's production despite the fact that he's short, thin, and slow. Michael Watson is an athletic, strong OT who filled in well in a pinch at the Senior Bowl without having practiced all week. He's not real big or overpowering, but his ability to play inside or outside should help him earn a roster spot behind a thin OL.

Saints

Scott Beveridge WR Peru State
Matthew Clark CB UCLA
Tramissian Davis WR Louisiana Tech
Dwight Ellick CB Notre Dame
Keron Henry WR Connecticut
Keith Joseph RB Texas A&M
L.P. La Douceur DE California
Ike Ndukwe OL Northwestern
Russ Rabe LB Minnesota-Duluth
Nick Steitz OG Oregon

Matt Clark is a tough little scrappy CB who has good ball skills on the field. He's small though so he's really only a Nickel guy, but his athleticism and toughness could earn him a spot if he's willing to play ST. Dwight Ellick is an incredibly fast, athletic CB who wasn't real productive at Notre Dame and doesn't have good size. He'll likely battle Matt Clark for a roster spot. Keron Henry is a thick, strong, productive WR who made the most of his opportunity playing with Dan Orlovsky. He's not fast or quick and has inconsistent hands, but his toughness and productivity should give him a look though he'll have a tough time making this roster. Keith Joseph is a huge FB with good athleticism and running ability, but should be a better blocker than he is at his size. Will have a good shot to win a BU job if he impresses on ST though. Russell Rabe was a fast, pass rushing DE in college, but he'll have to move to OLB with the Saints. He does have the quickness and athletic ability to pull the switch off though, but he'll have to start off on the PS.

Bucs

Kevin Arbet CB USC
Doug Buckles OG Mississippi
Jonathon Clinkscale OG Wisconsin
Ukee Dozier CB Minnesota
Matt Grootegoed LB USC
Lynn McGruder DT Oklahoma
Dominque Morris CB Vanderbilt
Fred Reid RB Mississippi State
Leon Robinson OG Georgia Tech

Jonathan Clinkscale is a big, tough, nasty OG who can maul people off the line, but he's extremely sloppy in his technique and is beaten way more often than you'd like. Also tested positive for marijuana which was pretty stupid for a marginal prospect to begin with. Matt Grootegoed was an incredibly productive LB at USC who actually outperformed Lofa Tatupu who was taken in the 2nd round. But his incredible lack of size means he'll have to move to SS where his lack of speed could be exposed. Unless he just blows the team away with his ST prowess, Matt will have a very difficult time making this team which is a huge fall from his glory days with the Trojans. Lynn McGruder was a highly ranked DT on my board so I was shocked he didn't get drafted, but I'm wondering if there is some injury concern there that I didn't know about. McGruder's a little small, but he's an extremely quick, athletic DT who can penetrate into the backfield and yet is stout enough at the point of attack to hold up against the run. He's probably better suited for NT in a 3-4 which the Bucs don't run, but he certainly played well enough in OU's 4-3 and should be a lock to make the roster unless he really is hurt. Dominique Morris has tremendous size and quickness for the CB position which makes him an interesting prospect. He's not real athletic or fast and wasn't terribly productive, but he's certainly got some intriguing upside on a team that needs CB help. Leon Robinson is a thick, strong OG with massive legs to drive guys off the line that I thought would get drafted late. He's not real quick and comes with injury baggage, but he does have some athletic ability and could be a surprise player for the Bucs since they're so thin at the OG position right now.

NFC West

Cardinals

Adam Bergen TE Lehigh
John Bronson TE Penn State
Tim Bulman DT Boston College
Timmy Chang QB Hawaii
Isaiah Ekejiuba CB Virginia
Aaron Francisco CB BYU
Jermaine Hardy CB Virginia
Carlyle Holiday WR Notre Dame
Tyler King DE Connecticut
Lamont Reid CB North Carolina State
Roger Robinson RB Northern Arizona
Ernest Shazor S Michigan
Dan Sheldon WR Northern Illinois

Not only did the Cards have a terrific draft, but they followed it up by bringing in some real quality UDFAs which should create some healthy competition in TC. I really love what Denny Green is putting together in the desert. Adam Bergen was definitely a sleeper prospect at TE that I thought would get drafted fairly early. He's got great size, excellent hands, good speed and quickness, and solid strength so I guess teams were just scared off by his small school status and the fact that he's raw. But going to a team with no quality TEs and a coach who likes to use "H-Back" type players at the position, it wouldn't shock me if Bergen won the startin job by the start of the season. He's definitely an intriguing guy to watch for this preseason. John Bronson is another "H-Back" who's fast, quick, and strong but is just a little undersized and lacks top athleticism. Tim Bulman is a fast, quick, strong, hard working DT who is undersized but will definitely give you his all on every down. He's a perfect fit for NT where it wouldn't shock me to see him beat out former 1st round bust Wendell Bryant. One of the guys I was most disappointed to see not get drafted was Timmy Chang. The all time leading passer in college football history and he doesn't even get a late 7th round flier taken on him. It's understandable considering he's small, lacks a top arm, and threw a TON of INTs at Hawaii, but don't underestimate this kid. He's a tough, gritty leader on the field who can escape the pressure in the pocket and has a lightning quick release. He obviously needs some work, but he has a great shot of beating out the totally immobile John Navarre during TC this summer and could eventually develop into a quality BU in this league. Jermaine Hardy is a thick, fast, athletic S who can play either FS or SS at the next level. He's been an underachiever so far though and has been hounded by injuries, but there's no doubt the kid has talent and there is a roster spot to be had. Carlyle Holiday has tremendous size/speed/athleticism at WR but is incredibly raw having moved from QB last year and will need time to develop on the PS. Tyler King is a big, stout DE who plays with a high motor and can get after the QB. He needs to add some bulk though and isn't real athletic or fast but he could make the team based on ST play. Lamont Reid has good size, speed, and athleticism for the CB position but is a bit of an underachiever considering all the talent that he possesses and will have a tough time cracking this deep CB group. Roger Robinson has 4.39 speed as a RB and is extremely athletic and strong though he's small and raw. But he could be dangerous as a 3rd down RB and KR so that should help him. Ernest Shazor went into this past season considered a 1st round lock, but an inconsistent senior year and horrible workouts caused him to fall out of the draft completely. Still, the guy can lay the wood on the field and should be able to handle a move to OLB if he's deemed to slow to stay at SS. He should definitely make the team if he can prove himself on ST. Dan Sheldon is small, but he can fly and is extremely dangerous after the catch which makes him a dangerous PR. Not sure there's a roster spot open for him though.

Rams

Zach Bray OG TCU
Jeremy Calahan DT Rice
Colby Clark DT Northwestern
Cliff Dukes DE Michigan State
Vontrell Jamison DE Clemson
Matt McChesney DT Colorado
Keon Newson DB Bowling Green
Dominic Robinson WR Florida State
Duvol Thompson CB Penn
Dominique Thompson WR William & Mary

Vontrell Jamison could be one of those guys we look back on and think, man I can't believe he wasn't drafted! Dude is an absolute beast at 6'6" 280 and yet is surprisingly athletic. A broken arm canceled his senior season, but this kid can get after the QB and will be an exciting player to watch in the preseason. He's an absolute lock to make the roster if he stays healthy. Matt McChesney is a guy I thought would get drafted. He's a tough, strong, mean, hard working DT who will fight you tooth and nail till the final whistle. He's not terribly big, fast, or athletic, but in terms of a nasty guy to wreak havoc in the middle, McChesney's your guy and he should be the Rams' guy as he should make the roster. Keon Newson is a productive, athletic S with good coverage skills though he's terribly undersized. Dominic Robinson has a thick, strong build and decent quickness and athleticism, but he's been a major underachiever in his career and doesn't have much of a realistic shot to make the team.

49ers

Fred Amey WR Sacramento State
Cole Farden P Oklahoma State
Bobby Purify RB Colorado
Scott Scharff DL Stanford
Matt Sinclair LB Illinois
Henry Tellis OT Troy
Tony Ficklin DE San Jose State

Fred Amey is a productive player with a thick, tough, strong build who runs good routes and has solid hands. He's short, not that athletic, and a litte slow, but he's a tough little SOB with the quickness to give DBs headaches. His best value comes on ST though either returning or covering kicks. Bobby Purify was a productive runner at Colorado with good athleticism and decent speed, but he has injury concerns and isn't all that big so he'll have a tough time making the roster. Matt Sinclair is definitely a guy I was surprised to not see drafted. He has great size and tremendous quickness and athleticism though he never really played up to that ability on the field. Still, Sinclair should have a great shot of making this team as an ILB in their new 3-4 alignment. Henry Tellis was also reported to have gone to the Jets so my writeup on him is in there. Tony Ficklin is a major boom or bust guy to bring in. There's no denying he's got tremendous potential as a RLB in the NFL with his tremendous size, speed, athleticism, and pass rush ability, but this kid's got some serious character baggage he brings with him and made a highly questionable decision to leave school early.

Seahawks

Jamaal Brimmer SS UNLV
Tim Galloway LB Washington
Steven Gibbs OG Arkansas State
Chris Kluwe P UCLA
Jesse Lumsden RB McMaster
Calen Powel TE Duke
Leonard Weaver FB Carson-Newman
Marquis Weeks RB Virginia
Brian Wrobel QB Winona State
Terry Holley S Rice
Junior Rosegreen FS Auburn

Jamaal Brimmer has been making huge plays at UNLV for 3 straight years, but a lack of size and speed caused him to fall all the way out of the draft. Still, this kid made those huge plays against big time competition like his game against Wisconsin 2 years ago so there has to be SOMETHING to him. He'll have a tough time making the 'Hawks secondary, but he should be a strong player on ST. Marquis Weeks is an interesting character. He played RB up until this past season when he switched to SS and played very well. He's got a thick, strong build and yet has great speed and quickness. He'll start his career on the PS as a KR, but if he works at it he could develop into a very good SS. Terry Holley is a smart, tough, athletic SS who's limited athletically and in his size and will have to battle Jamaal Brimmer on ST for a roster spot. Junior Rosegreen is another highly productive college safety who'll stand a decent shot of making this team. He's not real big or fast, but he's athletic and plays with great instincts and ball skills on the field. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.
