What's new

Early 300 Review

Well, at least I can entertain others...

I would bet my money that 99% of what was in the movie never happened, but I bet that the movie represents what the history books tell. You can't discredit a movie about Noah's Ark cause it never happened.

What I was saying is that you can't have a movie about 300 people from Greece starring a latino, an american indian, a black guy, a chinese guy, a puerto rican woman, a french guy, and the abominal snowman... If they had 300 black guys, I wouldn't care, but I don't think Spike Lee would have directed that movie very well. =P

I don't think I'm stretching anything, that's what the movie is saying. I don't think the year has anything to do with the message.

I don't think Bush's motives put him anywhere near this situation. He isn't fighting for freedom, he isn't being defensive, and I don't think he's even following his own ideas. Okay, you're right, people die in both cases. Good one.

I agree with the last part, I already said that.

Well now I want to see Spike's version. :(

Not to go too political, but the debate over what is and is not Bush's ideas and ideals are will never be solved because no straight or truthful answer will never be given about such things from anyone involved. But I do think that they believe, misguided as they are, that they are fighting for their view of American ideals, freedom and defense etc etc. And no that isn't a great example even given many of Frank Miller's views, just a funny one.

True.

I can guarantee, "**** this ****!" would be in Spike Lee's 300.
