Well, this is something I've yet to experience and wish I did, so have you ever been to the shooting range aka the gun range? How was it? What guns did you shoot?

I love shooting. Doesn't much matter what either, pistol, rifle shotgun, doesn't matter. I received my concealed carry license (perhaps another hot topic for debate) last year so have been shooting my Glock 27 quite a bit.

Used to do clay pigeon shooting at weekends, really enjoyed it.

I am a redneck by heart haha, therefore I own a lot of guns and yep, I am pretty trigger happy :D

I go to ranges but the ranges I go to are on private property of my friends :D

My favorite gun that I own is my Glock 23 (40 caliber handgun). My AR-15 also does a nice job haha!

Congratulations. Care to share a picture of it?

As a teen I visited a friend's shooting range and fired air rifle projectiles on targets ... was fun, but I never thought of doing that again.

Nowadays, if I want to shoot a gun, I just fire up a 3D shoot-'em-up game! ;)

@goblues Thank you for posting the picture! How much did that bad-boy cost ya?:D

If I remember correctly, around $429? That was almost 2 years ago now.
Not bad really. Brand new out of the box. I've heard cheaper prices in the streets for it. But, they could be dirty and all. I'd stay clear of those ones personally myself. I'd rather have a brand new one like yourself!

Yeah. Not sure I ever buy a preowned gun unless I knew the complete history of it and it was from someone I knew.

Yup, don't want to get caught with a dirty one. All the past = catch up to you. I'd rather buy the huge price for a good/cheap one really. I'm not into having a dirty one unless I'm getting rid of it fast.

You'd be surprised how fast they sell as well. Like one of my bros bought one for $125 a week ago, and then went ahead and sold it to someone else for $250. Nice profit.

Remember: The best gun is no gun at all -- b/c the fun stops when somebody gets killed or injured ... we have very strong rules for gun ownership here in Germany, and gun-related deaths and injuries are almost non-existent. Some people do have weapons like knives, etc., but normally, people should be unarmed, b/c the police and government are there to protect them. (that's at least our point of view ;) )

I'm not a big gun guy myself but I shot a rifle once when I was real young with our old landlord. It was pretty cool but the kickback knocked my on my arse.

Other than that I had BB guns (air rifles and pistols) growing up we used to shoot them in my backyard just for fun. Kind of a funny story when I was 8 or 9 we lived a huge piece of property beside a campground. Between us and the camp ground was a stream. If I wanted to shoot my BB gun, and Dad couldn't make the trip down 2 flights of stairs (he had emphysema), he would tell me to shoot by the stream so he could see me from the kitchen window. Some campers called the cops telling them that "There's a man with a gun by the stream" LOL Now I was a big kid but I don't think you could have mistaken me for a man at that age. Luckily the cop who responded lived right downstairs from us and told me not to shoot on the weekends as "city folk get nervous". =D

Other than that a a couple friends of mine are big into guns they have quite a few pistols and rifles. I honestly couldn't tell you what's what though. My handling of them has only been moving them if young kids are in the house.

I used to do clay pigeon shooting for a while and enjoyed it, also did come competition air rifle/pistol competitions. Managed to come second in one of them.
