In my earliest days I was always intrigued by the glamorous lifestyle and I loved to gain a lot of attention. And so growing up it became my dream to become like one of my favorite movies stars. Though as I advanced in age most of my childhood fantasies died out, I still sometimes see myself as an entertainer or actor in the movie industry.
Now, I just channel most of those my creative energy into writing and help take people on an entertaining mental journey with the written words.
Have you also dreamt of been a movie star and why did you have those thoughts?
Acting is one thing that I really suck at completely. I have tried it out when we were still kids and I was very horrible at it and I also tend to get all too emotional with what I'm supposed to act which doesn't go too well.
I've never had an urge to become a movie star because it's never appealed to me, especially the fame it must really be hard to manage that. I also don't think I'm very good at acting so it wouldn't suit me anyway haha! I do like watching movies and keeping up with celebrity news but I'd not want to be in that scene though.
I always wanted to be a movie star when I was a child because I always thought it would be amazing to see my name in lights and name in a movie. I realised growing up though that fame is very hard for some people and then the idea slowly faded away as I got older and now I'm glad I didn't do anything to pursue it. I used to think that I needed to move to LA and start a new life. Glad I didn't!
Once I was writing a script for a movie and I imagined myself in the central role. The role was specifically created for me. Sadly, I never sold the movie script. Even if I had sold the script, I would never try to be in the move. Acting is not my cup of tea.
No I've never dreamed of being a movie star. It's not my thing and the way life changes when people all over the world know you is creepy and it honestly unsettles me to think people you've never met can hate you.
I'd prefer to just get on with my life and not have to deal with other people obsessing over you (whether it's love or hate) because it can cause a lot of stress in your personal life that is hard to deal with.
You just took me back to memory lane. Back then as a kid, I would stand by the mirror mimicking some actors. I wanted to be one but I didn't know what else to do to achieve it.
I lived with that dream and today. I am a movie producer married to an actor.
