Ever received a birthday gift?

Birthday celebrations mean different things to different people. To some, it is the day to party while others don't feel any vibes on their birthdays. Do people gift you during birthdays? Any memorable gift you can remember?

Of course yes, my last birthday was a very big one for me because of what my friends did for me. I wasn't aware they had everything planned out and I was invited to a place and I was shocked. I got so many gifts that I can't mention. I got a track, a wrist watch, Necklace, and a Nike footwear.

Even if no one ever gives me anything on my birthday, my mother will always get me something nice. It's practically why I love that woman so much that I can do anything for her to be happy. She got a sliver ring last time on my birthday.

I don't usually get much gift during my birthday and it's all because that I don't have much friends. In fact, it's very difficult for me to make friends because I have serious trust issues. It's only my family members that gifts me stuff during my birthday.

I do get birthday gifts but I don't often get very much for my birthday because I make sure people know I don't need lots of gifts. I like to get gifts I can share with other people though as it's more special.

Maybe something like a voucher to go eat somewhere or money towards a day out / experience day would be nice. I don't like getting lots of materialistic things though as it's unnecessary.

Yeah, I like to get birthday gifts on my birthday every year but I don't like people to spend a lot of money on me because I don't want people to feel pressured. I value peoples time more than a material thing so if people show up to spend the day with me, that means a whole lot more to me than a gift. However, if people want to gift me something, I'll always enjoy it.

Next month 13th April is my birthday. I can't wait to see what gift my friends will get for me. I'm looking for new pair of boots, probably a timberland brand. Maybe, someone will gift me.

When I was younger, I always used to get small gifts but it was always easier back them for people to buy for me. Nowadays people tend to gift me money as they never know what to buy me so I can buy something I like.

Yes, I’ve received a few birthday gifts over the years. I actually get gift cards now or money since i’m a lot older now.

When I was growing up, I always felt that I would keep getting those gifts. However, growing up and having responsibilities now meant that a lot of people decide not to bother whether I get gifts or not.

Who hasn't received a birthday gift before? Now, that I'm older I only receive birthday gifts from my mom.
