Facebook & Qs...necessary evil?

I set up a facebook account (using my assumed name) so I can take advantage of SB offer, and I have a separate facebook account for friends & family only.
 
I'm old school. I still use my regular personal acct. for A's...the only downside is sometimes I have to go in and "hide" the things I"ve liked. Other than that I don't mind...BTW, If anyone wants a friend on FB send me a PM...I'm ALWAYS looking for more friends! :-)
 
I rarly print FB coupons--I hate the fact that they want me to publically "like" them--yes I know I can get the coupon and unlike but it is just wrong IMO
 
I have no FB acct, but my dh does so I use it. It has become one big giant ad for all these companies.
 
i like them and then unlike them after I print my qs. I tried to create a separate acct for just coupons but it seemed to link the personal one with the coupon one and I just had to leave it alone. I enjoy getting the qs but will not allow them to clutter my Wall!

So, if I go back and unlike them all the clutter will stop? I probably need to do that since even I find it annoying.
 
yes if you go back and unlike them the posts no longer show up on your wall

My sister on here never had a FB and did not want one. But as she heard of more and more coupons she finally gave in and got one. It has allowed her to reconnect with some old friends and she gets the coupons
 
Not only are the decent coupons going the FB way, so are the contests & freebies...I fought it for a while, but gave in...
 
I have one I use for both personal and coupons. It is a pain--I wish I had set up two accounts. So many times I miss what friends have posted because of this--I keep saying I am either going to switch all the freebies to a new account--or switch my personal account---My dd has said there is a way to do it--and it isn't that hard--that it sends out the notice to others--I really want to start the new one to be the couponing one--because of all the photos etc I have on the personal one.

Sadly, it is had a cat. I have mentioned her previously.

My baby, the world's smartest cat, passed on after 17 wonderful years.

My allergist forbade me from adopting another due to the severe & permanent scarring of my lungs caused by my allergy to pet dander.
