Alright DD brought this up in a different thread but I figured I would start another one. This Thread is one to see what kind of intrest there is for a Fantasy Baseball league, Also suggestions as to where we should set it up if we are to have one are welcome (ie sandbox, yahoo, espn, somewhere else). So if you are a baseball freak, or someone who is just lookin for some fun, post here and be counted. Dont be shy now.

I'm really on the fence on this one.
Football was fun because you really only had to concentrate on it for a day a week.
Hockey is a little more consuming, because it's 2 fantasy games a week, and 7 days of action to deal with. Whats more, where football was only 16 weeks, hockey is going to end up somewhere around 26.

I can see where baseball can get really overwhelming, with 162 games to worry about, and roster management being a full-time occupation.

I'm interested, but don't know if I want to commit because I'm not sure if it would hold my interest through the whole season.
However, now that I've been bitten by the fantasy sports bug, I don't know if I could survive the whole summer without any competition.

Well, I am certainly in if we do it. I think a yahoo rotiserie league is a good way to go. I have donw both sandbox and yahoo and have and have had decent results with both, but yahoo does tend to be a bit more reliable as far as updating stats and not being down.

Sandbox is good when it works, but it has a lot of issues staying up.
It's been reasonably good lately, but I'm still not too happy with the way they arbitrarily throw people into private leagues.

2 Pac> We've had our share of problems with Sandbox through the 2 leagues we've had.
In football, we went a long time on quite a few games where the scores weren't updated for days following the completion date of the game.

In hockey, we had someone placed into our league by Sandbox, even though we had set up the league as a private one. Also, we've had the same problem as we did in the football league.
At one point, we were playing game 25, even though the scores for games 23 and 24 hadn't been calculated.

Although Sandbox does have its problems . . . I tend to like their set up a lot. I think that sandbox would be a good place to set up however i am more then willing to play anywhere, so what ever everyone wants to do.

Well, this is getting into full swing now as far as setting up the league.

I suppose I'll do it, just because I don't think I could go a few months without having any fantasy sports.
