But, you bring up an excellent point.
What are everyone's thoughts on the issues which site to use and which system of scoring we want to use?
Personally, we've gone with Sandbox all year, despite all of their issues. Since we've been using it, everyone who's participated so far already has an account set up, so sticking with Sandbox would do a lot to minimize confusion.
On the scoring issue, I've been enjoying the fantasy scoring system in the other leagues. I can't really speak for roto, since I've never done it before, but I'm not sure the premise of roto scoring is as appealing to me as fantasy scoring.
That said, I'm willing to go with whatever the rest of you prefer.

I think that we should stick with Sandbox for a couple of reasons. I personaly have never been too fond of Yahoo, I kinda like the way that sandbox is set up even though we have had our share of problems. Also they are one of the advertisers on the soup so it would be nice to support them.
I would like to stick with the fantasy scoring system as I have been enjoying it a lot. However I am open to anything so everyone that has stated their intrest . . . sound off and let us know what you think.

A group of people draft actual players for "fantasy" teams and then earn points based on the performance/stats of the players you chose. You are able to trade and pick up free agents in order to improve your team. There are many different scoring systems, but the basic setup is the same. Sandbox.com and Yahoo both have free leagues that some of us have used in the past.

Goshzilla--> It really is a lot of fun. It dosnt take any real experience to do well, and even if you arnt doin all that great people tend to say that they have a blast either way (just look at me in hockey).

For those new to joining our Fantasy Sports leagues,
Fantasy scoring is based on how well a player does in a game.
Roto scoring is based on how well a player is doing in certain categories based on his position for the season-to-date.
I am undecided about the scoring system we should use. I have done both fantasy and rotiserie before and like them both. I have never, however, used fantasy head to head (which we used in football and hockey). Essentially head-to-head is where you go up against another over a period of time (couple days) and you win by having the better stats/performances during that time and then your standing in the league is determined by wins rather than points.
The problem with head to head is determining pitchers. It is often hard to find oiut who will be pitching in a few days and even when you do there are many times when this is changed at the last minute. So depending the longer the game period is (and I was just checking sandbox, but I was getting errors when I loaded it, so I don't know their length), the harder it is to get your best pitchers on the field. And in baseball, the pitchers are very important because they can get tons of points in a start and then they won't play for 4 or 5 games so if you have a good one, it is important to use him.

I'm really hedging here...to play or not to play....
I really know nothing about the MBL now a days...way back when in '86 i was a die hard mets fan, and Gary Carter's biggest fan...but since then, i've devoted more time to playing than watching...
Though I've always wanted to be part of your little fantasy things.
I guess I'll give it a go.
