I personally don't really understand the obsession with football kits that some people have but my brother is OBSESSED with collecting old football kits. He's collected like 20 different shirts so far and has spent a fortune on them.

I don't get it... but apparently they're worth a lot of money and can be very rare and collectible. He has a couple of match worn shirts which I guess is quite impressive, but the ones he's bought new are a bit pointless ha. Do you collect any?

I have over 20 jerseys that cut across 15 clubs that they used 10 years ago. I love old kits more than the new one. The design back then are more unique.

I have been making use of my club's kit that I have since 1992. I'm so attached to that kit and I can't wear another. If it gets old, I will still buy the same again but it's a lot expensive.

Yes, it's because such kits are very rare to get that makes it to be very expensive. I have spent over $6000 on kits. This year alone, I have spent $2500.

I am not much interested in collecting Football kits, but those that do always have this plan to sell those kits when the chances come up. Remember that the shirt won by Late Diego Maradona in the popular "hand of god" match was sold for a huge sum of money this month. Who knows the next jersey that will be in much demand.

They are pretty all the same thing to me. Why would I get myself worked up about old jersey kits? You hardly see most people wearing them right now?
