Which do you prefer?

I definately prefer the friendship, especially from someone you've known since grade school or earlier. You can ALWAYS go to them (if you can't, they aren't your friends, obviously...or just acquaintances), you can talk to them basically about anything, and usually have more fun with them. Well, maybe not other than THAT, but you know what I mean.

Friends tend to joke a lot with you too, staying away from that serious stuff. Unless you like serious, then friendships are the best! Joking around is one of the best things in life...in my opinion, respectively

Call me old fashioned, and call me a freak... but i don't believe in having a relationship without being friends with that person...

I know some people just "date" to date... but I don't, when I date a girl I do so because I can see a future with her.... and my future is always in my mind.... and considering I'm only 16, i don't see too many futures with the girls I see,

Nonono, of course you have to be friends with your partner, but I mean like friends since 1 month old or relationship (where you're not as good of FRIENDS, but rather lovers)

Well, Nap, I don't have any of that kind of friend (all my friends are from after I graduated from high school...not that I didn't have any before that, but we have lost touch). But even so, I think both are good for you. If you're in a relationship, you shouldn't neglect your platonic friendships, because it's pretty much impossible for one person to be all things for you. You need a balance of a bunch of different kinds of people in your life.
