Giuliana Rancic has my sympathy

How big for the boobs should be the last thing on her mind...and his, if he loves her.
IMHO

...but then again, boobs aren't 'big' on my list.

I think she's making a great decision! I would much rather live my life to a ripe old age than die an early death for the sake of sparing my "girls."

They haven't mentioned if she was tested for the BRCA genes (genes responsible for breast cancer that is heriditary in nature). I wonder if she is positive for it and that weighed heavily in her decision.

I've done IVF twice and don't regret it at all and I would guess that The Rancic's would do it again too. The pain and anguish of wanting a baby far outways the risk of the drugs. I don't recall any risks being mentioned but at that point you aren't always listening to the details when you have your eye on the prize/baby. my thoughts and prayers are with them. BTW...how many rounds of IVF have they done? I was lucky and ended up with 4 babies out of just two tries.

Twice. The couple began in vitro fertilization (IVF) in March 2010,[8] and got pregnant in the spring of 2010, however Giuliana suffered a miscarriage at eight weeks.[9][10] Rancic had an IVF transfer for a second time in November 2010, however the procedure did not result in a pregnancy.[11]

On the third round the docs wanted a mammo done before starting.

Giuliana Rancic ‘doing really well’ after undergoing successful double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery

Giuliana Rancic is in good spirits after undergoing a successful double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery Tuesday night.

"G is doing really well," husband Bill Rancic told E! News. "Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result."

The E! News host, 36, underwent a double lumpectomy and radiation in October to remove her breast cancer tumors, but decided to undergo the more drastic double mastectomy after consulting with a team of experts.

"She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes," Bill said.

Giuliana also had a message to share with fans following the procedure.

"I want to thank all the viewers and fans for their support and prayers," she said. "The tweets and notes have not gone unnoticed. I am very grateful."

Giuliana has had her fair share of health issues within the past year. She initially discovered her tumor in the earliest stages when her doctor recommended she get a mammogram following a third round of in vitro fertilization.

She and her husband have also been very public about their attempts to conceive via IVF.

"Early detection means so much," the TV host had said. "I want women to make sure they're taking care of their health and being proactive.
