My 17yr old DD is now Gluten sensitive! HELP what are some EASY recipes. She is always nauses,so she really has only been eatting potatoes. Thanks

She can eat meat, rice, veggies...just no wheat, barley, or rye.
My husband is GF...we eat a lot of Chipotle:)

She will start feeling amazing in a few weeks-I promise!

I am GF. I went without eating bread for months because I thought all the GF bread tasted horrible. My husband recently got the GF bread mix at Jewel and I love it. We have a loaf of it in the house at all times. Not only does it taste good, but it Is more filling then regular bread, so I eat less than I would have normally eaten and I am very satisfied. I eat a lot more fruits and vegetables.

Watch out for hidden whey in ice cream, sour cream and margarine.

You will find that other members of your family will agree to eat GF, too. My son just made me stuffed pork chops with GF cornbread stuffing. You get creative and it works.

There's Chex cereal or Rice Krispies are good for a quick breakfast. I had a wrap the other day with Rice Tortillas and it was good. You could also use those to make quesadillas.

King Arthur makes gluten free flour and cake mix. Betty Crocker (I think, in a yellow box) has gluten free cakes, borwnies and cookie mix. Tinkyada pasta is really good. Pamelas pancake and baking mix is awesome, really awesome to make pancakes, ****ins, banana bread, ect. Tomorrow when I am more awake, I can give you other ideas or products. The cinn. Chex is very tasty.

Thanks for the feedback.. She just found DONUTS at Whole Foods that are Gluten-Free :) My 4 kids are so picky with what they eat, I don't cook for everyone since they don't agree with what's for dinner. If I can fed 3 out of 6 then I'm happy, happy, happy! They're old enough to cook for themselves :)(21,17,15,14) thanks again everyone

I copied/pasted this off Amazon. My ds8 used to be on a gluten free (preservative/refined sugar/artificial color etc ....free) diet and I used to order off Amazon. I remember getting the Pamela's mix and making him pancakes. It was less expensive then buying it at the health food store back before I couponed.

Yes it is!! I get a delivery every 3 months. Subscribe and save is awesome for me.

Make sure they are the gluten-free Rice Krispies though. Malt and malt flavorings are made from barely a.k.a. gluten.
I have celiac and have been gluten-free for almost 4 years now. I have a ton of recipes and websites that are very helpful if you would like them.

I like Tinkyada brand noodles, jewel carries them in a pink bag cook them the energy saving way and they are not bad.
I like udis bread the white bread tastes kind of italian but like most gf bread they are better when toasted. I make grilled mozzarella with tomatoes and garlic salt and italian seasonings.
udi cinnamon raisin bread is good...toasted
I make sandwiches on cucumbers a lot as well.
gluten hides everywhere, watch all packets for modified food starch, natural flavor, smoke flavor, caramel color some not all are gluten. Some shredded cheeses as well. kraft uses potato starch.
udis double choc ****ins are fab, food for less has them along with the cinnamon bread in the fresh baked section but they can be hard to find.
A lot of flavors of potato chips have it as well as licorice and beef jerky. I am totally rambling now. Message me if you need more ideas or have questions. I have been gf for almost a year but it has been a learning experience for me. I def still make mistakes which my body tells me about instantly.

thanks everyone :) Now that are saying that corn, rice are gluten foods too :/
