HAIKU! Make one & pass it on

My dear, I'm not in the habit of eating mousefur's brains (or anyone elses for that matter), however, I do make a frequent habit of f*%king them out! Does that count?

Dead? NO.. Evil? Well yes, perhaps... whenever given the opportunity :embarass:

I do hope your vegetable sex is going well for you, nice imagary.

Now if we may resume the poetry.

How about this for a word: ectoplasm

You ma'm, did You ever read poetry? Why do You think that I wrote about vegetable sex. This is an allegory - do You know the mening of this word? Look there :

O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy:
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy

Do You think that this poem about sex between flower and worm with STD finish? I think that You are crazy on sex related stuff ... is it Your problem?

Can dish it out but you can't take it eh fella? Shame about that.
Maybe this will clear a few things up for you.... (I promise this is the last time I shall bother trying).

In regards to your "You ever read poetry?" remark, actually I do. I am also internationaly published, and an award winning musician and writer, so I don't really have any qualms about my own abilities, or my understanding of what is deemed to be poetry... it remains subjective individualy but objective from the broader perspective of critique.

As for an allegory, I am well aware of the descriptive use of a subject, to compose narrative which is suggestive of the original (similar) subject... it is figurative, and if done extremely cleverly, open to multiple interpretation by the reader - not sure you exactly hit that mark with your crude tale of the undressing Brasicca. Ultimately, it shouldn't really matter as this is an online forum and not a literary review dear; it's supposed to be fun. No-one actually cares!

Oh, by the way, quoting William Blake as some kind of defence doesn't make your writing any more valid, nor does it grant you the forsight as to how I might interperate that particular work... as ever, your comments regarding my understanding are, humourless, presumptious, somewhat offensive and stupendously inacurate.

FYI, attack may indeed be the best form of defence, but it doesn't win friends and influence people! I do however, hope you have a nice day :)

I'm off to fry some bigger fish now.

Hop! Hop! I do not talk about award winning poetry or interpretation of crude tales. But, as writer, You should to construct Your own viewpoint of situation, such a reversal engeneering of scene with finding of motivation and possible set of characters. You are failed to do this, all You pseudo-constructs was around harasement of young cabbages. Your first step to understand this story should to be the understanding of the fiance character. Do You know who is the cabbage's fiance? You can look at him there . Even if You can not to do such an easy brainwork, You should not shame me for vegetable sex. You know why? Because of You do not have ethical right to judge peoples for the same things that You are doing widely and screaming about it everythere.
I can only to propose what kind of writer You are and what kind of awards You have got, and I am certainly will never Your fun, cuz I have fun only from really good stuff :D

Of course, I am only defendant there ... You won this game and I will stop to post my finest lyrics in this thread.

Enjoy, You just won one more shiny award!
:ulaugh:

:ticked: blah blah blah... yeah, great, fabulous dear. Love how your use of English goes downhill along with your reasoning. Oh, how we laughed (not that we had a clue what it meant).
Anyway, moving on without the dreadful tedium....

simple hmm....

How about we scrap the haiku because it never attracted any fun players and I'm somewhat bored of it now?!
I can certainly think of far more interesting things to be doing anyway.

'tis haiku - not hack you...

I like poetry and i like nuphoria's lyrics too as well as her talented song writing ability. Do not write of what you do not know, do not describe flavour until you have tasted ...

My favourite poem is HIGH FLIGHT by John Gillespie Magee - I would suggest anyone who loves poetry and a sense of the tragedy of life and death reads it: it's available on line under his name for anyone discerning enough to look for it.

Back to the haiku - i like this thread too and will start a new subject ...

POETRY

The written word is born
From the pen of love and pain
Leaving dark traces

Next subject: WINTER
