Does anyone know how to add bots in a LAN game of Half-life?

I didn't know Half-Life had bots in LAN games.

Everytime I ever played an network or online game, it's been mano-a-mano.
No bots.

Also, there's no multiplayer component that's not against live competition.

You can download various bots off the internet. Try look around www.planethalflife.com for some bots.
