I used to wear a replica shirt/kit when I was a kid, it's acceptable when you're a kid but grown men wearing a replica shirt emblazoned with the sponsor? It's embarrassing.
Have you noticed the difference between away fans and home fans with regards to replica shirts? Most home grounds are filled with club colours but club colours are a minority in most away ends. The United end at the Emirates this season, not one replica shirt.
I have never owned one, and I don't plan on getting any. I don't have that connection others do with their sports team. I'll follow people and teams I like, maybe go see them, but that's as far as it gets.
Haven't worn a jersey since 5th grade when like everyone wore an Iverson jersey for picture day lol I have bought some since then but I don't wear them they are more for decoration
Only if I am going somewhere to watch the game or if I am actually going to the game itself. I see people wearing jerseys around during the week and I can't really understand why they would do so. To each his own.
I used to wear mine every game, whether home or out, but I don't like jerseys because the players get traded or leave for free agency or whatever so it looks stupid when I wear my Chad Pennington jersey.
I am more of a t-shirt and jeans guy anyway so I have a bunch of t-shirts and polo shirts with the team logo on it that I prefer to wear instead.
I wear my jersey's during the season and then also any other time during the week that I am feeling lazy They are so comfortable I just can't help myself.
I still keep my old football shirts, but I haven't worn one for around 10 years. I keep them for childhood memories. From a fashion point of view, football shirts are ghastly, you are a walking billboard.
I own a lot of football jerseys and I wear them when my team is playing or sometimes when I go to the gym.
I like the quality of the shirt and it is light to wear.
