I know, I don't know how I got like that. I hate needles, when I have to get stuck with one it makes me want to just beat the **** out of someone.

I have insulin dependent diabetes, I cannot be afraid of needles. I was bothered with them before I got it, but not after two shots every day, then moving to an insulin pump with worse needles less often... Needles are a necessary evil.
The needles they use a Dr.'s Offices are very rough needles, I think they're made for mass quantities. If they have to do 300 shots in an hour, they want to be able to do them fast, so the needle is bigger than it needs to be. The ones I was taking shots with are thinner than a normal pin, and they're about 3/8" long if that. Seriously, only about 19 out of 20, I didn't even feel. I can take a macromode picture if you want to see one.
The worst needles I ever see are at the Dr.'s Offices.
