Iguodala calling a teammate to be a better a defender

Maybe he should try being one or the other before commenting on other people.

Iguodala is one of the best defenders in the NBA actually. He's a shutdown guy who is very tough to score on. He's having a down year offensively, but has proven that he is a solid scorer in the NBA.

On this note, who do you think is an awesome scorer in the NBA that also plays great defensively?

Lebron for sure. He's an incredible defender especially when he puts his mind to it. He covers so much ground as a help defender that he can cause havoc out there and break up offensive sets. He also guards his man pretty well too.

Lebron and Dwayne our great defenders as well as Chris Paul. I believe Rondo will eventually become more of a scorer and he plays decent defense as well.

Must be a different Iggy than the one I've been watching.

Kobe is a perfect example of a prolific scorer and a great defender.

As much as he wants to guard the best player on the opposing team but the coaches won't allow him to because it takes a lot of his energy and they want him to focus on playmaking and scoring.

This is an interesting topic. It's really a mystery why there are some players who are very good ball handlers but are worse at guarding. Did you also notice that there are some players who are good 3 pointers but are bad at free throws? Haha it's really funny. Take Bowen for example, he's an excellent shooter with 818 Career 3-pointers, holding the 99th place in NBA history but why is he a bad free throw shooter?
