Hi everybody! I am so I excited with my creation that I wanted to share it with everyone here! Thought this would be the most appropriate place to post this. If this is against the rules, I am very sorry.

Anyways, here is my game -

I've been wanting to create a Medieval/Fantasy type project for a while now, but with other projects in the way, I did not have enough time to. Now with these other projects done, I took advantage of it and decided to create a Medieval Fantasy game!

This project will be quick and short, Aeralnu was created to finally build a Fantasy/Medieval game and get it out of my mind.
With that being said, lettuce get on with the story.

Story
The God of Bats, Meromes, has been forsaken by the people of Aeralnu for over 800 years. With the lack of worship and sacrifices you are finally resurrected where you were believed to have fallen. With your powers lost, you take up the sword and punish those who have forgotten you in your own temple.

If this game goes well, I'd be happy to expand it into a full game.

Originally is was Unity3D, but I did switch it over to FPSC only because it is a lot easier to place down 3D models.

Even though it was created through FPSC, loads of work was involved, such as: scripting, creating 3d models, texturing, etc.

That looks really neat!
How did you make that game? :O
It is a rather long process and too long to type down.
But all you need is a game engine you can work with.

I tried using Unreal Engine and Source once. Good, but I never really had the patience for 'em.

Also did a half-finished level on the HPL engine.

I was the same before. I think I gave up on 12 other games. It is frustrating because I spend hours making a game, then the next week I abandon it.
Hopefully Aeralnu is successful! :D

Doooooooood if you need beta players I'd gladly do it. I LOVE games and anything medieval/fantasy related!
It looks awesome so faaar *.*
Actually I was looking for some beta testers to test the first level! If you want to do it, email me at - admin@pixeleater.me

Hopefully bumbing a 2 month old topic is allowed. Anyways, just wanted to remind those who are still interested that this game is still being worked on. :)

Here are some new screenies -

So far I have only completed 3 levels.

Very cool! Not into games like this but I will test it for you. Tril may like to have a look at this as well.

Not only do I get to test a game, I get pointed to a lovely font. I'm addicted to downloading pretty fonts.

I'm installing now, will give you an update once I've tried it. :3

I use RPG Maker a lot as I like to design levels and such, I've never used a 3D engine before but if you'd like any help I'd be more than glad to help if at all possible, however you'd have to probably show me a lot of stuff. I also do a bit of voice acting if you need someone! I'll check it out when i get home tonight :)

I can't actually open the doors (not sure whether I am supposed to be able to or not, but the one room alone seems a tad silly without the ability to open doors). Controlling other than that is decent though, I like the look and feel of it.

Update: I think it was my computer lagging out, as it's working now. :o The font colour when reading the notes are a tad difficult when it has the bottom of the letter behind it, but it is still readable. :3

Hmm, not sure if I understood correctly. You are able to open doors now?

Thanks! I'll send you a message when I might need you :)

Oh! I forgot to mention, please report any bugs or give me suggestions!

Anything that will help improve the game is valuable to me :D

Thanks!
