cpu i'd say a 2500 barton...i always go for amd because it seems much cheaper.

I like the Abit IC7 a lot. That's for a P4 though.
For AMD, I like the Abit NF7-S a lot, as well.

If you care about looks i'd say yes go for it. IMO i'd rather have a comp. that performs rather than looks good. Thats why i bent my case panel in half so i could never use it but get good temps

Are you looking for AMD or Intel?

If you want a DFI LanParty motherboard, then I'd suggest the new version wiich has just been released, LanParty Revision B.

You can get Nforce2 motherboards for as low as $50 (Biostar M7NCD)

The NF7-S board and IC7-G are both great. The IC7-G has gigabit ethernet
