I tried this last week and it was fantastic!!
If you like easy and quick...this one is for you.
Now, for this one you can use your own homemade stuffing...but I prefer to use Stove top because it's fast!
1-2/3 cups of hot water (if using your own stuffing, omit water)
1 pkg. of your favorite stove top (I used Savory Herbs)
1-1/2 lbs of Italian Sausage, cut into 2 inch thick slices
1 large red pepper
1 large green pepper
1 large onion
1 can of (8oz.) tomato sauce
1 8 oz bag of shredded mozzerella
Add the water to your stove top, stir and let sit
Cook and stir sausage, pepper and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat until evenly browned; drain.
Place in 13x9 inch baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over sausage mixture; top with mozzerella; top with prepared stuffing.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Of course, I had to double this one for my family but it makes a decent bit as is too.
