I am without any pepper at all. It's 8:00 p.m.--we got back from emergency an hour or so ago; My sister's husband will be in the hospital until Saturday if everything goes perfectly. But the doctor who was tending him said he can't promise anything; the biggest problem is a compressed lumbar fracture (a break in the lower spine), consistent with a seat-belt injury (his words), and it's "more significant that we thought at first". The specialist can't see him until at least tomorrow. He may need an MRI, he may need a third CT scan, he might even need surgery and a full body cast. Right now things are looking good for a cinched back brace for three months, but until the specialist looks at him, no one really knows. If things don't go the way they hope he may be transferred to Royal Columbian by Tuesday. He also has a concussion and about 15-20 stitches in his head on three different injuries (we're not sure how many--they go back into his scalp.)

I am hugely grateful that we have seemingly limitless emotional support from our immediate family; and I promise I won't mix religion into this forum, but thank God I have God to pray to, and that's all I'll say about that.

Tomorrow I have to clean two buildings, get snow tires on my car and go back to the hospital; but at least it will be with a full night's sleep under my belt.

I am thanking Brandon and divastar--In fact, I did sleep well, and deeply appreciate d's best wishes.

I am going to do a couple of jobs early this morning and get back to take my sister to the hospital, then go put snowtires on my car, then go to the hospital myself.

I am bored

Have you enjoyed The Tudors Homebody? I know it wasnt historically correct on many things but i still enjoyed the show....especially the eye candy they had playing Henry. Jonathan Rhys Meyers is YUM!

I am getting ready for bed.

Yes, it's an addictive show. And I totally agree with you about Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Very gifted actor and oh so nice to gaze upon.

I am wishing Homebody sweet dreams

Were you as happy as me when he had his second wifes, Anne Boylen, head cut off? LOL Thought she was horrible and deserved it.

LOL! Yeah, she was pretty horrible all right. The episode we just finished watching was when his young son Edward, fell so seriously ill. My sister and I couldn't remember what actually happened in history, and it was all we could do not to pause the show and run and check it out on internet.

I have to check out JRM's bio on IMDb, see what else he's done. Have you seen all the the Tudor seasons?

I am wishing divastar the same.

I am finished watching The Tudors...terrible use of language there LOL

Yes, as I said above, i have watched all the episodes. and LMAO.....I was exactly the same. After watching I would look it up on internet to see what really happened to each character. I had times when I nearly put it on pause and ran for computer LOL...had to make myself wait until episode finished.

Isn't that hilarious? My sister and I don't watch the current season of any show that we like on tv. We always wait until it comes out on dvd. That way we can see a ton of it at once without commercials, go do stuff without missing bits because of that oh-so-handy pause button, and not run the risk of missing an episode because life got in the way of that night's episode. I hate it when I miss one in a continuing story line. The only show we watch right away is The Big Bang Theory, because you can see them out of order without it affecting the story line too too much. Plus we find it so funny we can't wait for it to come out on dvd.
