I think that Lin is a great player. It will be interesting to see if he really develops or if this Linsanity hype was just a phase. Hopefully, he develops into a incredible point guard because the Knicks sure do need it.

I think Lin is a great player, too. He has a great work ethic. All the attention and hype seemed to distract him for awhile. Now that it is settling down maybe we can see how good Lin will be for the long term.

This Linsanity craze has passed it's prime now. I am not a big fan of Jeremy Lin and I thought he played some good games but is mostly over rated. I read in the Huffington Post that he just signed a 2 year promo deal with Volvo. I also heard that he has trade marked the work "Linsanity".

I was curious to here some of your guys' opinion on it.

I think that overall he's a very humble guy and it's not his fault that media and fans reacted the way that they did. He had no way of controlling the whole Linsanity era. Personally, I like the guy.

I believe Jeremy Lin deserves the attention he's getting right now. He got skills no doubt about that and he has put some serious digits on the board in several games. That tells you he deserves every minute he stayed on the floor. Is he over-hyped? Maybe. But you have to give the young guy credits for not being affected with all the spectacles surrounding him now.

There's no reason not to root for the guy. He's the classic underdog story that has earned everything he's gotten. Can't blame him for the media blow this up to epic proportions. He's remained humble through it all, which would be difficult for most to do. I don't understand how some people can root for someone to fail.
