I watched for Pink Floyd. But I thought Robbie Williams, The Who, Velvet Revolver, and Madonna were also excellent.

I am so regretting not flying over to London to the gig now.

I am not a huge Pink Floyd fan, but they just blew me away and when Green Day did Queen's We Are The Champions, was awesome.

I was kind of wondering if something like this was coming. It seems like both channels got really slammed for thier coverage. Both in it's quality and organization and thier obviuos desire to cash in as much as possible while broadcasting an event for charity.

WOW

I just found this site that has a ton of mov's of performances from Live8. Definitely worth checking out if you like some of the bands, especially if you missed the event.

E! ABC's Live 8 Faux Pa

Live 8 may prove to have been a little too live for ABC.

The Alphabet net is under fire from the Parents Television Council, which claims ABC censors were asleep at the wheel (or is that button?) and failed to bleep an F-bomb from the Who's performance of "Who Are You" during the mega-concert.

No word yet on whether the FCC will investigate.
