Before:
(I forgot to take a before when the room was intact, but it was all stark white, per SD18's request a few years ago.)
After:
Quite pink!! The black did help tone down the pink a bit. It was pepto-bismol in the can! I re-used the bedspreads & drapery panels, the chair & checkered cornice were in DD18's room before she relinquished it to the new kids, the nightstand was already there but I cut apart my "Glinda" costume & used the skirt to make it foo-foo. On the right wall, that's a drop down desk. It is a *very* small room, so space is limited. I'll be on the lookout for a loft bed eventually, but for now she can use the bunk beds.
Curious to see if she likes it....
She isn't "officially" moving in there yet, but she can be in there whenever SD17 isn't here, which is most of the time. Once the attic is done & MIL moves back home after her surgery, we should be totally settled into everyone having their own space. :surrender:
