NFL Trivia Thread

OJ Simpson.

Who held the TE receiving yards record before Rob Gronkowski broke it in the 2011 season?

(Tip: This is a trick question, really think about it)

Jimmy Graham..he had the record set by Kellen Winslow and then Gronko broke it like 1 or 2 games later.

90 yards! Very impressive!!! That guy had some leg on him!

Nope. The answer is: Steve O'Neal...98 yards in 1969. This one was a bit of a trick because he did it in the AFL but those records were converted into NFL once the leagues came together and this one stands as the longest in history.

Uhhh... 51 is a very good punt, but it's not even close to the record. I mean Lechler punted at least 80 yards this season vs the Bears.

oh shoot. my brain died and i thought that said Field Goal.

I think it is Dan Marino - But it was not consecutive seasons. It was 1984 and 1986.
