off-brand wii remotes

Has anyone bought any of the non-nintendo wii remotes. are they any good? We have realized that it would be nice to have 4 remotes but they are so expensive. I am debating between the cheaper ones or TRU has them for 31 today!

Not sure where you live--but I have for sale a wii remote with the game wii sports play--for 25.00---it is new in box---we wanted the extra remotes too-so we bought extra boxes in case any one we knew wanted some (the game retails for 49.99) Now this is the older remote--it does not have the wii motion in it---
Also--there is a coupon on targets web sight for money off wii remote or nunchuck

We have 2 off brand Wii Remotes and sometimes they do not want to connect. Next time I would invest in the Wii Brand remotes.

Thanks! I have the coupon for target but I think it is cheaper at tru this weekend! We have the wii play game already. I think we will go with the real wii ones

We have 2 no name Wii remotes and they work just fine

My advice... stay away from Pelican brand. Doesn't last long.
