Oh Andystowing! Casino Getway

I want to take my DH to a casino getaway. Are the Ho-Chunk of Wis Dells and Nekoosa similar in quality? I really want to stay in Nekoosa, there is property up there I want to look at. But if their casino/hotel is crap, then we would do the Dells.

Any input you have would be wonderful, DH needs a vacation or he is gonna Pop!

I personally do not like the Nekosa at all. Wisconsin dells is one of my favs. Plus if you contact cassegrand she may meet you at the dells. Nekosa is small and you could drive to the property near Nakosa to look, from the dells it is a very nice drive up HWY 13 only about an hours drive. HTH.
LMK I may have to get away for the day!!!!!!

I took my mom to Ho-Chunk for her 65th birthday and we stayed at the hotel and loved it. BUT, be careful of where your room is. Ours was SOOOO far from the lobby & casino I swear it took 20 minutes to get to the lobby. It was a lot of walking!

I agree I stayed with my mom a few years ago.. It took her a long time to get to the room. I ummmm never made it to the room except right befor we left I needed to shower. LOL...

They do have good machines

Our problem was that she has to eat every 2 to 3 hours to control her diabetes. So you can imagine how many times we had to trek back to the room fridge. I was exhausted :giggles:
