So I have been MIA for a bit now.. taking 18 credit hours right now and have to do 16-24 hours a week for my externship by :quotes: working :quotes: in a Doctors office. (I put quotes on the working portion as I am working, just not being paid)

So needless to say I am running around like a fool trying to get EVERYTHING done... So here is the update part... I graduate on May 20th of this year :bowing: AND I am being inducted into PTK ~ Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for my GPA of 3.83

So I thought I would come back and let you know all of this as many of you are the ones who encouraged me to go back to school and helped me with advise along the way. I am proud to go from a high school drop out, to a GED, to a successful college student with great grades to boot!

Anywho, I'll stop bragging now.... ;)

Congratulations! It's a hard thing to go back to school; brain doesn't want to do college-type thinking, so getting grades like those makes it even more special.
 
You go girl. I admire all you are able to fit in during the day and those great grades. POWER TO THE PIG!!!

Ok, i don't know what my problem is...but i'm getting all teary eyed. As a teacher, I'm happy to hear you went from drop out to GED to college grad. I hate hearing the stories of non-success (no i don't mean those who aren't in college--college is not for everyone)...I just mean success in your own meaning. My first third grade class is graduating college now and I've heard of those kids who quit and turn to drugs or just aren't happy with what they've done or in jail...so YOU are inspiring! YOU are an example that you can do it! Congrats to you!
 
I still remember you telling us when you lost your job. You've come so far Piggers! :dance:


Good thing we're FB friends or I'd have had to send a search party out for you a long time ago!
