You pretty much CAN'T be fired for being pregnant...that isn't legal. Be sure to bring in a doc's note and let your job know that is what is going on.
That's the other think about my job and my Dr. I can't get a Dr. note unless I have an appointment and when I ask for a note for furture days or previous days, they look at me like I am trying to scan them out of something and they say 'Well you didn't come in to see the Dr on that day' or 'You don't have a fever, so we can't excuse you'. Then, my work is so particular about how the Dr.s not is written. It has to explicitly say what exact days I am being excused for, the reason for my absense and if I am able to return to work. How exactly am I supposed to ask/tell the Dr how to write out a dr's note for me, when they barely have the time to write one out at all. Is my Dr a **** or my employer a ****? Or a little form column A and a little from column B?
