There is defanitley something wrong with my Matrix DVD, I've been trying to watch it all day (because I've noting better to do on a wonderful Saturday afternoon *shrug*) and it keeps freezing. Anyone else having any type of problems with DVDs in general, or in particular their Matrix DVD? It's aggrivating! :D

Sometimes it can be the DVD itself, but then it could be the DVD Player causing the problem. I know that on my dad's first DVD Player alot of his DVD's froze, but when I played them on my DVD it played fine. I suggest you try it on another DVD or go back to the store and ask for a new one. Try that and if that keeps freezing up then it's likely its your DVD Player.
Oh its too late to ask for a new one, it was a Christmas present, of which the receipt is long in the trash I'm sure 
You may just need to wipe off the disc.
If you don't see many scratches on the disc then its not that. Your player needs to be cleaned, so get rubbing alcohol and some swabs of some sort. The lens is probably just covered with dirt so check that out. If it's not that then I have no clue. Sorry bro.
what brand dvd player do you have? if it's a mintek, i pity you. they're god awful. every time you open the dvd player, you get dust in it. i suggest cleaning it, and if that doesn't work, then you're up **** creek without a paddle buddy

I have the same problem! Its soo weird! I have a Phillips DVD Player. I dunno whats wrong with it. I even tried cleaning it and the cd doesnt have a scratch that i see.
