XBOX for me, I've never been able to get a hang of the playstation style controls
I've been a Sony supporter since the original Playstation, and only had a 360 for a few months. Got the red rings on the 360 and couldn't get any support from Microsoft to get it fixed cause I was past warranty. So I swear of Microsoft and stuck with the PS3.
IMO, better games, Blu Ray enabled and I like the feel of the controller better than the hulk that is the 360 controller.

go for the ps3 it has free online wich is quite amazing.
there is also quite important wich console your friends have as i personaly find it much better to game with friends
Has to be Xbox 360 
so much more fun, better layout of their dashboard, avatars with plenty of props, clothes and add-ons, plenty of ways to keep in contact with friends, party chat with up to 8 people for me everything about the Xbox 360 beats the PS3 hands down.
