I'm really hoping this is in the right category. If it isn't I'll trust Alien to move it to the right one

I'm in the market for a DVD drive for my computer. It has to be SCSI, since I'm all out of IDE slots. I'm looking for a 6x minimum. All I'm looking for is suggestions on drives, since I can get the pricing info myself. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Pioneer 303S is all you need to know.
UltraSCSI, 6x, slot-load. Great drive, fast performer.
Best SCSI DVD drive around, bar none.
Check out http://209.143.228.54/FMPro?-db=maxpcrev.fp3&-format=detailformat%5fstorage.html&-lay=allfields&-sortfield=Unsorted&-op=cn&Product=103&-op=gt&Verdict=0&-max=20&-recid=33264&-find=

(sorry for the long URL. For some reason, it won't link properly) for detailed info. The review is for the IDE version of the drive, but clearly represents the SCSI version as well.

FWIW, I have this drive, my dad has this drive, a few of my friends have this drive, and not one complain among us.

From another BBS:
"hmm... Cyrix III, huh? You can put syrup on sh*t, but that don't make it pancakes."

Can't beat that for $110! Thanks Dan.
