Come on. They confiscated his monitor, scanner and printer? What was he doing, distributing printouts of mp3s which he scanned in from someone else's printout? Granted, the kid deserved something, but (as usual) I think they went a bit over the top.
I also get a kick out of this line: "After we finish that review, we will evaluate the amount of substance he was distributing." He must have been distributing illegal substances as well.

That does suck indeed, but someone already said, he was asking for it. I mean 40 gigs of space made available to people to download? I'm suprised their IT department didn't catch that guy sooner. He must have sucked up half the OSU bandwidth =/
