Ross Dress for Less

This store is going to be opening in Schaumburg on Barrington Rd, does anyone know anything about this store?
 
They have them in WA -- it's like my Mom's favorite store. Yeah, a lot like Marshall's, but the one by her at least is bigger and better organized.
 
They are also putting one up on Randall Road in South Elgin. They are like a TJ Maxx but more along the lines of the Value City when they still had department stores not just furniture. How long before that store opens? The SE one says it opens in the fall- they've been working on it all summer.
 
I love TJ Maxx and Marshalls and wouldn't you know it they are opening this one in a shopping center with a Jewel, I can shop for clothes and groceries in one shot. :lol:
 
Jschwemi- probably in Matteson in the old Linens-N-Things space next to the old Borders space. :lol: I saw it today, opening fall of 2011.

you're probably right, they have been doing alot of work on that building lately. I am always seeing the union guys out there with that big rat:lol:
 
People, I work for a construction company.....these stores are going to be EVERYWHERE!

We've bid on at least 6 or 7 that are going up in the Chicago area alone!

Oh...and I'd buy stock in Taco Bell also, apparently the economy has been good to them! We've been getting requests to bid new construction on these left and right!

Taco Bell is a private company, its parent company Yum'S Brand Inc(also operates KFC, Pizza Hut) is a listed public company though.
 
LOVE Ross stores ~!~ We go to them every time we are in Florida. I think their prices are better than TJ Maxx. Can't wait till they are opened here. I believe they said all stores will be opening on the same day in IL--Oct.8th.

Just in time for a little birthday shopping:) Anybody know if they have gift cards?
 
I like them. Good prices & for me more style choices. I bought a cute sun dress for $13 when I was in CA this past May. I get compliments on it everytime I wear it. :)
 
When the company I work for was getting the blue prints for these stores I had it in my head for some reason that they sold Men's Clothing/Suits.

Not sure why just sounded like that kind of store, good to know they sell all kinds of clothes...I'll have to check it out!
 
There is also one opening near stratford mall next to the old navy over there. My mom is so excited, we have these near family down south and love them!
 
Love Ross. They're definitely cheaper than TJ Maxx/Marshalls because I find the same exact stuff for a couple dollars less. I got some great stuff there just today :D

I'm a Ross/TJMaxx/Marshalls addict. I stop by at LEAST one of the above, daily. Last week I got a Theory top on clearance for $10. It just FELT expensive, soooo I took a look at the original tag and it was over $200! Right now Marshalls is clearing stuff out of most of their stores here, so I've found some really great treasures!
 
My favorite store ever!!! I buy so much there!!. They have great quality for cheap prices but if you see something buy it and return dont think about it or it will be gone... I got daughter fab boots there on Saturday and great birthday gifts for sons girlfriend. I get a lot of nice Jones NY Tops plus nice jeans etc there. I always get lots of compliments on home accessories that i have bought there... You will love it.

Plus I got a lot of my curtain rods there for a 1/5 of the price when compared to JCP Sears etc... I have a few Ross near me so grabbed 2 here 2 there etc as they are limited. Plus nice big pictures for a fraction of the cost. If decorating your home as I have been it is a godsend....

My DH buys a lot of his sports shirts and shorts for working out here much cheaper than Macys or ****s where he usually gets them.
