Royal Mail - Good? or Bad? or Just A Right Pain!

So what is your thoughts about Royal Mail and how good there are? This goes out the Peak Members from the United Kingdom.

Recently I have had so much trouble with Royal Mail! I used to always try to support them rathe than using couriers like Hermes but now I think im just going to use the cheapest service. Royal Mail never read the delivery preferences that you state so it leads to constant trips to the sorting office which is always a pain to get to.
