The comment about Ann Romney not working a day in her life was incredibly poorly chosen.

Come on now, if it was said by a Republican pundit about the wife of a Democratic candidate, I'm guessing it wouldn't just have been "poorly chosen." It would have been more along the lines of outrageous, unbelievable, ****tardish, etc.

(I think we all know by now I'm not a mittens supporter.)

No, I believe I would still say the same thing. I do try to look at context for comments that seem inflammatory.

I would like to see the data on that. Different jobs have different pay, if they were comparing equal numbers of men and women who had the same job and found this, it would be sad. If they are comparing a woman from the housekeeping staff to a male chef, then it isn't a fair comparison.

I was a little confused by your statement and clicked the link I put in.

The article I linked is NOT the article I read. :9:
The article I read started with the last paragraph of the one linked.
"As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama was criticized for paying the women on his campaign staff less than the men, and far less than GOP opponent John McCain paid his female staffers."
The article then explained the difference in pay to the campaign staff.

DH's family has been destroyed by Scott Walker. His Grandma is beside herself. Pretty much everybody is a state employee. Teacher, State Worker, and First Responder. The fighting is so bad that after our last visit I just don't have the energy to deal with it. Not too mention my boys we kind of scared. It is just crazy nuts...........
