Okay, I just installed Mandrake 7.2 on my server (was running redhat 6.2, but I wanted to try out a new distro). I suck when it comes to setting up all my services (I had LOTS of help from a friend when setting up redhat last time). I've got my DSL working, as well as NAT, but I've been trying to get samba and telnet to work all day, to no avail. I'd rather get telnet working first, because I only have one monitor here for the two systems, and it's a big pain having to switch the monitor every 5 mins between the two (normally I just telnet in from my windows box and use XWin32). So anyway, I'm clueless (when I try to start inet, I get [PASSED], that's about as far as I am now since I don't want to go around screwing with files if I don't know what I'm doing)... any help would be appreciated!
