still seems like some kind of ultrasound-equivalent would be in order if it's that deep to see if it stretches onto town property
and if it's really really deep, you may still be able to charge admission.
as a side note, i don't think i would like to be the one clearing dirt at the bottom of a potentially deeper sinkhole..
