The value made in the world by teachers cannot be overemphasized as they have both help groomed the young ones and adult alike to become proficient and enlightened individuals.

Though teachers aren't really appreciated much, and are Even paid quite low as compared to their level of importance in society, this shouldn't be deterrent to anyone who has a passion for impacting knowledge not to take up teaching as their profession.

Would you take up teaching as your profession and if you are already one why did you choose the profession?

I would never be a teacher because I don't think I would have the patience to teach children in a school. It's never been something I've really had an desire to do. I think I would find it hard to also keep unruly children in check because sometimes they can have behavioural issues and just makes it impossible to do anything productive.

Teaching is something that has never crossed my mind to consider full time. I have taught as a trainee in the past, but deciding to start teaching on a daily basis in order to earn is kind of difficult to me.

Having seen family members and friends working in the teaching profession (all primary level) I am sure that it is not something I would be able to do. It seems to be a very difficult, emotionally draining and stressful profession. Although you get a lot of holiday it seems to be that a lot of the holiday and weekends is spent doing work at home, so I am sure you don't actually get very much rest time. The pay relative to the hours worked also seems low and the respect the job gets doesn't seem as much as it should be.

I wouldn't want to teach it sounds like a really hard job. I also didn't like school when I was there last time so don't really want to go back. From what I have heard from people that are teachers it is a very difficult and thankless job which isn't even paid that well considering the hours and stress involved.

Teaching is very hard to do as a job and it's not something I've ever considering doing myself. Having to teach a room full of children things that they may not even want to know about sounds like a challenge.

You also have to deal with angry parents and spend so much time preparing lessons that it's probably very draining to be a teacher.

Even though my father worked as a teacher before taking journalism as his career and my sister was a teacher, I never thought about becoming a teacher, I never liked this profession (I respect teachers, though). Interestingly, I was married to a teacher.
