The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

I know that Kaizer is on leave - but where is everyone else at? I thought this was a striving-admin community, you guys aren't showing it, let's put in some effort - and help grow this place while the owner is gone.

I know I'll do my part of posting new threads, replying to posts, and trying to tell people about this place, but I can't be the only person trying to put in an effort.
 
You have to realize that we do have lives out side of our PCs/laptops, and not all of us can be on 24/7 to post. I have my own forum to run, and my time online is kind of limited at the moment, as I am yet again battling some health issues, so I'm sure people have probably just been busy. All forums go through a slow stage... you can't expect all forums to be busy all the time.

Did you hear me say anything like that? No, I said, we just need some help here that's all. I'm busy running my community, promoting, have an outside live as well - so what are you talking about? :P
 
I think what she is trying to say is that both Kaiser and myself have been extremely busy, therefore do not have much time to come on and post. Everyone else is probably also too busy to drop by and make some posts, etc.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. Also, it'd be pretty hard to find a decent dedicated staff for any kind of forum like this. Yes, the extra help would be nice, but not everyone can take on a big job such as this, and since Xenforo is a new product, it would take quite a bit of training to learn how to use it, and not everyone has time to train on new people for a brand-new software such as this. Pardon me if I'm still not making sense. I have a tough time wording things at times.

If everyone is busy, then there needs to be a way to bring in more active members.

It was offered to me as Kaiser is a friend of mine. I might step back down to a mod or even completely when he returns but I did initially tell him that I would not have enough time to help promote, etc. and only keep an eye on things and post as and when I could.
