The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

if you want me to agree that most women can't drive then you must admit that you're all hopeless when it comes to having colds and flu. :p

 just like every other male with a cold. :p

I may or may not have had the flu. I got blood work back from the doctors and he is sending me to see a gastrointestinal doctor to get check for something called Celiac Disease.

Which maybe the doctor is on to something because for years my last doctor wanted me to see a GI because my yearly blood work always came back with very low B12 and Iron levels year after year, but I never went :p .

Now that this new doctor has said the same thing, without knowing my last doctor said the same I guess I should go see this gastrointestinal specialist.

 that's worse than dairy intollerance, you can't have WEAT. so anything with flour in it, GONE. and if you don't comply you'll get sicker and sicker and sicker. i think your body is telling you that it's time to start actually looking after yourself. :D
my mother in law was told that she has diabetes last year. it's the best thing that ever happenned to her. she has been FORCED to cut out all the junk and start excersising. she already had massive cholesterol problems and was overweight and no doubt in my mind heading to a very early grave. i think getting early diabetes saved her life.

If that is indeed what it turns out to be I can see it having the same effect as you mentioned diabetes with your mom. I would eat only what I'm suppose to. I'm not going to make myself sicker.

It may not be that, it may turn out to be something else. If so I hope it's not something real bad. All my doctor seemed to be sure about is that low B12 and Iron means something is wrong in the small intestine. I hope I get in quick to this GI and get tests back quickly.

Maybe I'm not drinking enough scotch ;)

I'm just about ready to retire

Except for not having the money to do so

but one can't be worried about the small details
