I was paying 30$ for my uverse of 12 down

I doubt I'll get the same offer with the cable company :(

I'll find out today, I have a friend on Twitter that works for the local cable co and he's going to try and get me setup with a deal.
I'll find out today, suppose to get a call this morning.
 
DSL is the slowest 'broadband' offering. DSL speed is limited by the twister pair technology from the 50s.

Knock on wood, my cable connection has be rock solid lately but DSL is generally the most stable.

The only upside of DSL is your speed isn't shared between neighbors. On cable during prime surfing times your speed drops sometimes quite a bit as other people are up/downloading on your node.

PS: Brandon, most cable companies have a "introductory package" for $29.99/mo. You may have to haggle a bit to get it but don't let them fool you.

Since you'd be a new customer your probably eligiable for a triple play promotion. The price is only good for the first 6 months then it goes up significantly so watch out for that and make sure you ask the CSR what the price is after the introductory period.
 
Dunno if I mentioned it but I bought a second XF license a couple weeks ago for Big Guy Lil World. Converted over with no problem. Hopefully things will slow down off line so I can offically launch next week - I have to fix permissions and I've been dragging my feet for almost a year now.

Moved my vB suite install to Debate Chat. Got a style from Pure vB. This site is back burnered but I want to get the logo fixed up soon and hopefully launch mid-May.

Saturday is great so far
Just got done with my sons soccer game, going to check out some art then continue packing.

uh it's more of just practice atm, he doesn't really know what happening..lol

I'm moving to a house in town
 
we got about 90% moved over today :)

Now I have 2 weeks to clean the old place to get my deposit back!

I'll also be with internet at the new place for a few days while I look over the options.
 
Very nice, when I moved, we started packing at about 9am, and finished most of it at 2pm (lorry leaves), with the last being done via the car at 4pm. 4-6 hours later we started unpacking at around 9pm, and finished just after midnight...that was a very long day!
 
I picked up the uhaul at 9am, dropped it off at 3:30
only put 15 miles on it, but it was packed!

Congratulations on moving so much. It would take me all day to move lol.

I'll just be using my phone for a week or so while I get internet setup at the new place.

Very nice. How many rooms does it have? Are you going to have your own office? :D
 
It's a 2 bedroom house, and yes I'll have a room for my office too. I think it's generally a dinning room but I don't like how it would be setup if I had a table there, so I'll place my desk there instead.
