The Confabulation Thread - Part 2

Sounds like my cat, and she's full grown. Sleeps all day, awake all night. Sometimes wakes me up at not 4 in the morning, but at 1 in the morning. Sometimes she times it good as that's when I usually have to use the restroom, but when I don't have to do anything like that, then it's poor timing on her part. Especially when/if I happen to be sleeping hard.

Oh, so it was you and your cat I was thinking about then, lol

Could've been. We've talked about so much stuff on forums over the years it's hard to keep track of everything, ha, ha.

And actually, we never did completely rid her of that habit. We've gotten her to cut down on it, but we haven't gotten rid of it completely. The most we've done is just got some pet repellent stuff which we spray on the usual things she scratches on, and it works. The sucky part is you have to keep applying it so many times though just to keep her rear end off the surface.

As long as your cat does not become addicted or become immune to the stuff, then I'm sure it will be fine :)

From experience, when pets start to misbehave or get stressed out & frustrated, it's usually because they are bored and want to either go out or play.

Yeah, but what if it's in the middle of the night and everyone wants to sleep?

She's not addicted to that stuff, really. If anything, I think that has helped her cut down on the habit a bit, as it doesn't occur as often as it used to.

If they do it at the middle of the night, it probably means they want to go out, and usually they don't shut up until they get their way :(

Not in my cat's case. Usually she wants to be fed (she does eat alot, unfortunately) so I give her a pouch and she's good to go for a while. But I usually try to give her a pouch before going to bed and that keeps her calm for a little while anyways.

I'm ok thanks. I still have a very tough decision to make, and my headache is not helping me make it as it's just clouding the options and making it worse :(
The headache means you shouldn't do whatever you planned on doing as it would be a bad idea.

that's the problem though, I can't do it because the headache has made things even more confusing and uncertain than what they were before :(
You know what will be the best choice. But you will know its a bad choive if you regret it later on. Think it through bro.
